A new School for Social Care Research

As part of its aim of developing the evidence-base in adult social care practice, the National Institute for Health Research launched its "flagship" School for Social Care Research (SSCR) in 2009. With a budget of £15 million over five years, the SSCR aims to provide considerable benefit to the health and well-being of the population through the new knowledge gained
