Dementia Awareness
The course is designed to help care workers in both residential and domiciliary settings to be more confident when working with people with Dementia. The Modules cover what Dementia is, working with Dementia, and the principles around person centred care.
Learning Objectives
- Learners to understand what Dementia is, how it is caused, and how it differs from other conditions.
- Learners to understand the effects of Dementia, the conditions caused by Dementia, and the 4 stages of Dementia.
- Learners to understand the principles of person centred care.
- Learners to complete an online assessment to show understanding of the Module.
Course duration
