Managing Medication
The course is designed for care workers in both residential and domiciliary settings to be more confident when supporting people with their medication. There is also the expectation that people will gain a much better understanding of their organisations medication policy, and how it affects the way they work.
Learning objectives
- Learners to be able to assess how much help a person requires with their Medication.
- Looking at some of the types of assistance in more detail.
Looking at approaches to administering Medication.- How to administer different forms of Medication.
- Learners to complete an online assessment to show understanding of the Module.
Course duration
Around 1 hour E-leaning, and 1.5-2 hours with a Tutor in a group training session.
