We are now piloting our new Log on to Care Learning Centre, which will house all the current E-learning courses plus some others we are able to add and are currently working on.

This provides access to the eLearning material and allows you to:
  • Monitor your progress and scores through the courses
  • Jump back into your last place so you can complete the course in more than one sitting
  • View & print certificates of achievement once you complete and pass the courses

If you go to http://www.logontocare.org.uk/index.aspx?o=5608 , you can see the revamped eLearning pages, and give us your feedback as we develop them, with a launch date of the end of May

OVER 350 REGISTRATIONS FOR THE LEARNING CENTRE

The new Learning Centre has taken off!!  We have already to over 350 registrations in the first 2 months of operation. A wide range of people working through the 8 Modules, gaining assessment scores, and are getting to print out a certificate of completion. We've had very positive feedback that the system is accessible, easy to use, and helpful.

At the various Train the Trainer sessions we have been running, we have briefed organisations on how to access the system, and coordinate an overview report on how all of the Learners are getting on.

Over the next 3 weeks, we have an additional 5 Training Modules going live - we've agreed these with the NHS Core Learning Units.

  • Food, Nutrition and Hydration in Health and Social Care
  • Infection Prevention and You - Social Care
  • Promoting and protecting health - everybody's business
  • Clinical Infection Prevention Programme - Urinary Catheters
  • Understanding Personal Safety and Security Awareness

We'll let you know when they're availabile - keep a look out!!
