Hi, I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has implemented successfully service user and carer involvement in staff recruitment:
what worked well/any challenges
what training you provided for service users/carers and for staff
what level of decision making did they play in the selection process?
We've had ad hoc practice for many years, but looking to standardise to ensure consistency. In particular I'm looking at people with learning disabilities - but interested in all.
