End of Life Care for all resources update

News
A while ago we did a feature on the end of life E-learning materials. Skills for Care have worked in partnership with DH e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) to provide free access to e-ELCA, End of Life Care for All, for adult social care employers registered with the National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC).
As an employer registered with the NMDS-SC, you now have access to a user registration code that is available to you when logged in to your NMDS-SC online account. The code will enable each of your individual employees to self-register for access to e-ELCA.
You can access the user registration code when you log in and update your information at www.nmds-sc-online.org.uk. The code can be found on the "my establishmet" page of your account.
How to register for this free resource
With the user registration code your employees can register at https://registration.e-lfh.org.uk/UserRegistration/RegistrationForm.aspx?pid=39 this will take them directly to a simple registration form. At the bottom of the page there is a specific field in which they enter the user registration code.
If you manage an NMDS-SC parent account please ensure your subsidiaries have access to this user registration code.
How can e_ELCA help my employees?
e_ELCA is a free and innovative e-learning resource that aims to enhance the training and education of all those involved in delivering end of life care. Although the training resources have been developed in the main by healthcare professionals they have been written for both the health and social care sectors. Skills for Care believe that the resources can be extremely beneficial for providers of adult social care. We recognise that whilst the language and terminology may vary for social care, the fundamental principles of delivering quality end of life care are the same. Many of the sessions can provide valuable learning opportunities for all staff in social care.
