Regional Care Associations

MKB Care, the new Care Association incorporating BACH (Buckinghamshire Association of Care Homes). MKB Care is a Care Association for private and voluntary care providers in Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire. It is a voluntary organisation, run by members, for members.
BUDCHA
BUDCA is an informal organisation of independent home care agencies operating in Buckinghamshire. Our membership is about 25, comprising most of the main accredited providers in the County. We meet roughly quarterly to discuss common issues, training opportunities, best practice etc. There isnt currently a web presence, but contact details are: 020 8566 8282 jeremy.chandler@enara.co.uk
South East Care Advisory Service

SECAS is Skills for Care’s brokerage service, funded by the Learning and Skills Council. The service is being delivered locally through the Care Association network to provide advice and support on workforce development issues such as skills profiling for staff, accessing the right training, workforce planning, and much more.
Berkshire Care Association
Berkshire Care Association (BCA) promotes high standards of health and social care across all care services in Berkshire. BCA is the voice representing the interests of everyone who works in, uses, and is associated with care in Berkshire, and aims to enhance and consolidate the networking, training and co-operation of the health and social care sector and its stakeholders in the area.
Oxcare
Oxcare is a Train to Gain provider and by accessing funding from the Learning Skills Council, the European Social Fund and other sources, we can offer free access to learning opportunities. Please check specific availability with event organisers. Most of these opportunities are also free to unpaid carers.

Skills for Care is the employer led authority on the training standards and development needs of nearly one million social care staff in England providing over £25 million in funding to support improved training and qualifications for managers and staff.
Commission for Social Care Inspection
CSCI regulate, inspect and review all adult social care services in the public, private and voluntary sectors in England. They give a star rating to councils and, from 2008, a quality rating to care services.
