Training in Slough

Welcome to Slough Borough Council’s learning and development opportunities.  The Specialist Learning and Development Team ensures appropriate opportunities are made available for Slough Borough Council staff.  Learning and development opportunities are also available to colleagues in the Private, Voluntary and Independent Sector who:

• hold a contract with Slough Borough Council for social care services or
• provide social care services for Slough residents or
• are employed using direct payments by Slough residents.

The Learning and Development Team

The Learning and Development team at Slough Borough Council arrange development opportunities for Adult Health and Social Care Providers, that are linked to the CQC Workforce Outcomes.  These include Health & Safety, and other topics such as Dementia and Safeguarding Adults.
