Evaluation (has it worked?)

What is 'successful' involvement of service users or carers in social care training and learning activity?  This will depend on your viewpoint, but many service users and carers get involved so that the quality of services and care improve.

As well as evaluating the impact of involvement on improvements in services and care, the process of involvement can also be evaluated.  This sort of evaluation can contribute to our understanding of what is effective and purposeful engagement with service users and carers.

This section contains documents and links to sites that address the evidence base for involvement, and is the most under developed part of the site at present.
