The Log on to Care project has developed a number of online interactive training modules in partnership with eLearning providers. Currently there are 25 topic areas with nearly 60 Modules, which we are growing all the time.

The Log on to Care Learning Centre allows you to:

  • Monitor your progress and scores through the modules
  • Jump back into your last place so you can complete the module in more than one sitting
  • View & print certificates of achievement once you complete and pass the modules

Access to the Modules

Currently, local authority employees within the Thames Valley can access the Learning Centre (including Bracknell Forest Council, Buckinghamshire County Council, Milton Keynes Council, Oxfordshire County Council, Reading Borough Council, Slough Borough Council, West Berkshire Council, Windsor and Maidenhead Council, and Wokingham Borough Council).

All of these eLearning modules are available free of charge for the first 10 people in all organisations in the Thames Valley along with Trainer and Learner notes. If an organisation wants to enrol more than 10 people, there is a small annual charge for additional learners of £25 per learner per year.

Some organisations use these in a "blended" way in the classroom, with a Trainer and Learners working through them, and others more distance learning based.
