Log on to Care - Local User Groups

Ones of the best ways of a Social Care organisation getting involved in the project is through joining one of the local User groups. These sessions are considered very useful by organisations that attend.

These groups meet quarterly in a number of the Local Authority areas to:

• Share good practice on training approaches using blended and E-learning approaches
• Get an update on whats happening with Log on to Care, and let us know if future Modules they are interested in being developed
• Trying out some of the Modules on the Learning Centre

The latest times and dates for attending the Train the Trainer groups as of June 2011 are:

• Central Bedfordshire User group: 2nd May 9.30-12.30
• West Berkshire User Group: 9th May 9.30-12.30
• Buckinghamshire User Group: 10th May 9.30-12.30
• Wokingham User Group: 17th May 2.30-4.30pm
• Slough and Bracknell are running a series of E-learning courses in areas like Dementia and Safeguarding and vulnerable adults (contact us for details)
