Log on to Care is carrying out a project on behalf of Skills for Care to develop a dedicated section of the Log on to Care site for Personal Assistants and Employers. The new section will contain free and easy access to areas such as:

-    Information and resources,
-    The opportunity for networking using the bulletin board / e-community,
-    Access to the e-learning modules,
-    Ongoing ideas and links for Personal Assistants Development

The first part of the project was to run 2 Focus groups to ask a group of Employers and Personal Assistants their views on the sort of information they wanted to see, and how the Log on to care section could provide this. These sessions were held in July 2010, and a summary of the main points can be seen in the news and events section of the new section
