My colleague Karen Stevens is the Skills for Care lead for Dementia Care in the South East. Karen is currently working with colleagues in Skills for Health and the Department of Health looking at the area of workforce development in dementia care across the South East region. Karen is attending a key meeting in late September to look at progressing this work in partnership with key organisations.

I would be really pleased if you could let me know some of the key projects / initiatives in your organisation/locally/regionally or sub regionally which involve dementia care services. Karen will then look to map these for the whole of the South East region and then work with you and other key partners to further support these initiatives, share good practice and add value.
